Saturday was a stroke event won by Stuart (Doggie) Watson with 38 points, runner up Terry Fitzpatrick 35 points. Balls were awarded to Al Gourlay and Mark Holding on 33 points.

The club is pleased to announce that Australian Vintage Wines have renewed their sponsorship for the nearest the pin on the par three 3rd, won this week by Matt Dean 590 cm, Matt also took the pigeon with this shot.
Al Gourlay was awarded the G & T Schnitzel prize for the 12th after the Captain forgot to put his distance on the board as rules require. Shane Trinick took the Merbein Lions NTP club voucher with 455 cm.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Ken Matulick’s mother recently, our condolences to Ken and the family.
On a happier note, Terry Fitzpatrick celebrated his 82nd birthday with some excellent golf over the week
